because as important as neo domino city is and how it is the center of where their bonds blossomed and sprouted and stretched out it’s also important to remember that bonds are not stationary, nor is the planetary particle that he’s named after

it moves and flies about even when connected to the bonds it powers and that power it, respectively, and that no matter where they go, their bonds will remain strong

but they all must grow and develop and change

all the other protags get to move on to their next journey why must you, yuusei, remain stationary and static and still? of course. that requires that yuusei actually have a well-integrated character arc to begin with.
